Hey people!
How are you doing?
:D
The reason why I'm laughing is the upper sentence. My friend and I talked about that question a couple of days ago and she decided to practice her English with me :D So I thought to use this language more often :)
And then we're here!
It's been a little long we couldn't met here ( you all and I ).
Always, I'm deciding for the recipe to share. You gotta help me some day. It's sometimes hard to choose one. Really.
This time we're going to make tarts (tartelettes).
Ingredients
- 150 gr chilled butter
- 15 full tablespoons flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon chilled water
- 1/2 litre milk
- 2 full tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Vanilla
Cocoa is a choice for filling ingredients
and for top
- 2 carrots
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange crust
and
and
chocolate is a choice for top, too :)
Wow! Writing the measures was quite hard :) I try my best to give perfect ones and in my way... As I always say you will find your perfect measures by trying for a couple of times ;)
Let's go for the first time (your first time?) together!
- For the tart crust firstly we're making 150 gr butter and 15 tablespoons flour get mixed by hand. When they get really friendly with each other it's time to add the egg and sugar and then water.
- Next, we knead them nicely well and wrap the dough with plastic wrap. Least 30 mins to the fridge :D We let it rest in peace at cold :D It likes cold places for 30 min :) Nothing to do! I personally don't like cold, never!
- All we need to do is mixing the ingredients and cooking them until it becomes creamy and smells well.
- When the filling is cooked we're taking it to cool down. When the anger goes away it's ready to use :D
I know it's a kind of weird, my way of telling but who cares? This world has an end :D
- Let's look at the watch! Oh, it's been 35 minutes since we sent our dough to the fridge. Time to save the friend... by getting it from cold.
- For the little tartelettes we take pieces from our friend as the size of an peacan.
- Making the piece flat between our hands and a suitable circle from another piece to put on top of it is a way.
- Another way is that; we can flat the whole dough and cut round pieces. Then cut smaller rounds of the inner of the half of the little pieces and put them top of the other halves.
- Or a easier way; use molds! :D
- For bigger tarts we're using the reverse side of the molds by covering them with dough as thin as we can and it stand :D
- We can make some little decorating things from our friend for the tops :)
- Now time to send them to the oven, yeah! Let's give them 30 minutes but this time at hot tempreture :) Like 180 celcius...
- But we gotta take them out when they start coloring though :D
While they are being baked in the oven we go for souce recipe;
- First we grate the carrots and parch them with oil. When it's done we gotta add sugar and stay on fire for some more seconds. After taking the pan out of the fire we're adding grated orange. It's done!
Yeah, as you would guess, it's time to take tarts from the owen 'cause they are baked enough. It's been almost 30 mins :D Oh, my imagination! Oh, our minds! :D
Let's do it quick!
- We put the filling to the center of tarts and the carrots to the top and all of them to the oven for more 5 mins. That's enough, yeah!
- Decorating is up to your imagination! I'm done by here :D
That took time, agree? But the smell and the incredible taste is worth!
As I always ask from you; please forgive my language mistakes :)
Love you all... Love & Thank...
^o^
Let me find a pretty music for the closing
*-*
There it is!
